Welcome to the November 2025 edition of our monthly FinOps feature roundup. Each month, we highlight the latest Ternary innovations designed to improve cloud cost transparency, boost operational efficiency, and strengthen collaboration across teams.
The November 2025 FinOps roundup features the private beta release of the Ternary Optimization Hub, improvements to the Billing Rules Engine, and new capabilities in MSP Billing Statements. We’ve also released two product videos showcasing Ternary Custom Labels and our Ternary for Public Sector solution.
Read on to explore how these enhancements help customers maximize the value of their cloud investments and enable partners to scale their FinOps practices with confidence.
Introducing the Ternary Optimization Hub (Private Beta)
We’re excited to introduce the Ternary Optimization Hub, a new unified multi-cloud experience that simplifies how teams surface and act on savings opportunities across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Currently available in private beta, the Ternary Optimization Hub consolidates usage insights, rate data, and anomaly detection into an interactive dashboard so you can quickly identify and prioritize high-impact optimizations.
Ternary already provides resource utilization recommendations by service and provider. With the Optimization Hub, these insights are now unified and organized into two clear categories:
- Idle recommendations
- Rightsizing recommendations
This structure makes it easier to filter, refine, and drill into specific opportunities with accuracy and control.
Today, Ternary also offers separate commitment management capabilities for each cloud provider. In the coming months, these capabilities will be incorporated into the Optimization Hub, allowing you to evaluate and manage commitment-based discounts across all three major clouds in one place while still retaining provider-level visibility.
The Ternary Optimization Hub helps you focus on what matters most: prioritizing savings actions, collaborating with context, and driving measurable value from multi-cloud spend. Stay tuned for more exciting updates!
Billing Rules Engine update: Real-time status visibility
The Ternary Billing Rules Engine now includes real-time processing status for each billing rule, giving managed service providers and customers clearer insight into rule execution.
A new Status column in the billing rules table indicates whether each rule is active, in progress, or failed. This allows you to quickly confirm successful processing and troubleshoot issues directly within the user interface.
This enhancement improves confidence in billing automations and helps teams keep workflows running smoothly.
MSP Billing Statements enhancements: Search filter and international address support
We’ve introduced two new enhancements to Ternary MSP Billing Statements to streamline partner workflows and support expanding global operations.
Search by Tenant Name or ID
Partners can now search billing statements by tenant name or ID. This makes it faster than ever to locate specific customers across large tenant lists.
Support for international billing addresses
We’ve also added full support for non-US billing addresses. When you select “International” in the country field, a flexible freeform address format appears, ensuring accurate billing for clients around the world.
Together, these updates help MSPs boost billing efficiency, reduce manual lookup time, and confidently support international customers with ease.
New videos: Ternary in 90 seconds or less
Our Ternary in 90 Seconds or Less video series continues this month with two new episodes focused on helping you unlock more value from Ternary.
Ternary Custom Labels
This episode walks you through how to build and analyze Custom Labels, giving you a more flexible way to classify and understand your cloud spending.
With Ternary Custom Labels, you can:
- Create meaningful labels using existing metadata like provider tags and attributes
- Group spend by team, business unit, product line, or any structure your organization uses
- Filter and analyze cost data in the way your business operates
Custom Labels give teams more clarity and control by transforming raw billing data into actionable insights.
